Introduction First Cost Goods Landed Goods (POE) Domestic Goods Domestic Forms International Forms Genesco purchases goods in three different ways. The three types are listed below along with the relevant sections of the routing guide. First Cost Goods – These are purchases sourced directly from the factory where Genesco is the importer of record. Genesco is responsible for all international transportation and import costs. Ø  First Cost Overview Ø  Packaging Standards Ø  Labels-First Cost Ø  First Cost Process Ø  Freight Forwarder Contact Information Landed Goods (POE) – These are purchases of entire containers or less- than-container loads where the vendor is the importer of record. Once the goods have cleared Customs, Genesco will take delivery of the goods at the Port of Entry (POE). These shipments will bypass the vendor’s warehouse entirely (drop shipments). Ø  Landed Overview Ø  Packaging Standards Ø  Container Shipments – Long Beach/Los Angeles Ø  Container Shipments – New York/New Jersey Ø  Return to Vendor Procedures Ø  Chargeback Information Ø  Contacts Domestic Goods – These are purchases of goods where Genesco will buy from the vendor’s (or vendor’s subcontractor) warehouse. These will either ship to our warehouse or drop ship directly to our stores.
